We already met the BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900/9930 at BlackBerry world event, but we had expected more devices from Blackberry but BB only revealed said versions at the event, but today we have two other expected devices from BlackBerry announced at BlackBerry Media event in London that include BlackBerry Torch 9810 and Torch 9860/9850 (UMTS/CDMA), which was previously rumored by the names of BB Touch and Monza as well as BlackBerry Bold 9900/99320. All are coming with NFC capability and powered by 1.2GHz single-core processor.
When it comes to specs, the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is thinnest Smartphone yet from BB and features 2.8″ VGA (640×480) 287 dpi capacitive touchscreen, 8 gigs of expandable memory, a 5 MP autofocus camera capable of 720p video recording. The device looks the same as previous line of the bold devices and made out of high-quality brushed stainless steel.
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 leaked many times and finally announced today, the device is coming with a 1.2GHz processor, 8GB of onboard memory (expandable SD card slot supports up to 32GB), 768MB of RAM, 3.2″ 640 x 480 display, 5-megapixel rear camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, slide out QWERTY keyboard. It is also identical to the previous version of the torch albeit with a different back.
Meanwhile the BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 is a larger version of the Torch sporting a 3.7″ 800 x 480 display, a 1.2GHz processor, 768MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage (expandable SD card slot supports up to 32GB), GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a 5-megapixel camera.
When it comes to availability, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 will be released via AT&T this month while BlackBerry Torch 9860 and Bold 9900 will be released later 2011, it is expected to be available in September 2011 in US, UK most of Europe and presumably Canada. According to some other reports, UK retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U have announced that they will be offering the Bold 9900 from August 18; pricing will be from free on a £31 ($51) a month contract from Carphone Warehouse, and free on a £35 ($57) contract from Phones4U. O2 UK has also confirmed through twitter that it will sell these devices on its network.
