HTC to announce Eternity and Omega Windows Phone Mango Devices on September 1?
HTC has arranged an event on September 1st and now it seems that it is an event for the announcement of its Windows Phone Mango devices. HTC is in fact mum about the menu of the event but rumor suggests the menu only consists of Windows Phone mango devices and food and drinks.
It is specualted that mostly the even may unveil the anticipated HTC Eternity and the HTC Omega that are suspected to be running on Windows Phone 7 Mango. These Smartphones could be the first mango devices to be available. According to earlier reports, the HTC Eternity will features monstrous 4.7″ S-LCD screen, an 8MP camera and a 1.5GHz processor. On the other hand the HTC Omega may feature similar 1.5GHz CPU and an 8MP camera, but a smaller 3.8″ screen.
The speculation also goes towards AT&T’s first LTE device and it is said that HTC Eternity could be the first LTE device to hit the AT&T’s network so is Windows Phone 7 powered. The Omega on the other hand should go to T-Mobile and ther may be Euro version of these Smartphones too.
