O2 Germany to release Motorola Defy+ with Gingerbread in Weeks?
It seems that Motorola is prepping up the second generation of its Defy and will be known as Defy+, according to German website mobiFlip.de, O2 in Germany is planning to launch the Motorola DEFY+ on its network. You may expect a bigger change form the old gold but the as much as we know it is not that much bigger change under the hood.
The change may be on its processor and OS, and according to reports, the Processor will be boosted up to 1GHz from 800MHz in the current DEFY and will be running on Android 2.3m instead of Froyo. Other features may be identical to its current version, including its design.
While evaluating the performance of the current version of the device, surely these two facts may be the main drawback for the device, and thanks to the upgrade. One thing owners of the current version might be thinking if they will get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update or just left with the same Froyo. it is yet to be confirmed. The report suggest the release of the device sometimes in third week and will be sold at approximate price of € 300.
