Samsung Galaxy W, Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y and Y Pro Smartphones revealed with Specs

Samsung has announced a bunch of new entry and mid range Smartphones ahead of IFA  (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin), the devices include Samsung Galaxy W, Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y and   Samsung Galaxy Y Pro. Two of the Smartphones are coming with PORTRAIT QWERTY keyboard.

First look at the Samsung Galaxy W and this is the top level in the range, this new Smartphone is powered by single-core 1.4GHz processor and sports 3.7″ 480×800 pixels LCD display, 5MP camera, 14.4Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a 1500mAh battery. Other features include TouchWiz all over it with Samsung’s multimedia and social Hubs as well as Kies Air for wireless syncing and certainly the Smartphone is running on Android 23.3 Gingerbread.Samsung Galaxy W, Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y and Y Pro Smartphones revealed with SpecsThen we go with Samsung Galaxy M Pro with a portrait QWERTY keyboard and packs  2.66″ 320×480 pixels LCD screen, 1GHz processor, 5MP camera plus a front-facing one, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0, and Wi-Fi  for connectivity. The M Pro is slimmer at 0.53″ (9.97mm), packs a 1350mAh batter. It will also feature some enterprise-oriented services like Cisco Mobile, Webex, and Sybase Afaria. It will be running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.Next one is Samsung Galaxy Y powered by 832MHz CPU and employees 3″ 240×320 pixels LCD display, 2MP camera, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 3.0 plus Wi-Fi, and a meager 1200mAh battery.  The phone will come with SWYPE built-in and will be sold in a variety of colors.Samsung Galaxy W, Galaxy M Pro, Galaxy Y and Y Pro Smartphones revealed with SpecsUnfortunately, the details of Samsung Galaxy Y Pro haven’t been revealed, only what we know is that it is a portrait QWERTY device as Galaxy M Pro. Anyway, you can see these Smartphones at IFA 2011 next week and all of these Smartphones represents Samsung’s strategy toward the world smartphone war. Samsung seems to be aggressive releasing entry level for below $200 to high-end devices like Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Tab LTE devices. One thing to note that at IFA, Samsung will have another story f high end devices and these smartphones may not be the main attraction.
