Samsung reportedly to unveil Galaxy S II LTE Smartphone at IFA 2011
Recently we reported about an LTE version of Samsung Galaxy S II that was leaked, now it seems that it is almost confirmed by Samsung and will be displayed at IFA 2011 next week. SammyHub say’s they’ve “confirmed” with Samsung that IFA 2011 will play host to a 1.5 GHz dual-core Samsung Galaxy S II with LTE capabilities.
When it comes to specs, the device is close to the Samsung Celox 4G LTE device and it is a Galaxy S II variant leaked a few days ago. The Samsung Galaxy S II 4G LTE device is expected to feature a 4.5″ Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and the usual swath of NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8MP camera with flash and a 1850mAh battery. The Galaxy S II 4G LTE device is also expected to be first to feature LTE/WCDMA/GSM combined in a Smartphone.
One of the interesting thing is that the Samsung is using Qualcomm processor, we could expect another variant with Samsung’s own EXYNOS version of the same processor. Anyway, let’s wait for a little time.
