Samsung Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y Bada 2.0 Smartphones revealed with Specs
Samsung has finally announced trio of new Bada OS powered Smartphone ahead of IFA 2011, the new smartphones named Samsung Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y comes with somewhat good features that can compete with other mid and entry level smartphones out there.
When it comes to specs the wAVE 3 is the smartphone with most features, the device powered by 1.4GHz CPU features a 4″ Super AMOLED screen with WVGA resolution, latest TouchWiz UI, 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash that can shoot video at 720p HD and a VGA unit at the front for video call. Connectivity include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, and USB 2.0 and a microSD card slot. The device has built-in memory of 3GB and a battery of 1500 mAh. all packs in a brushed aluminum body, weighing 122 grams.
The next one is Samsung Wave M comes powered by an 832 MHz CPU that features a 3.65″ TFT LCD screen with HVGA resolution, a 5MP AF camera on its back as Wave 3 but limited at HVGA @30fps, A VGA front camera, 150MB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot that support 32GB. Other usual connectivity is also available to the device along with an accelerometer and proximity sensor. The Wave M has a 1350 mAh battery under its metallic body and weighs 121 grams.
Finally the Samsung Wave Y is an entry level Smartphone running on the Same Bada 2.0 and comes powered by the same CPU as Wave M and sports a 3.2” touchscreen, a 2MP camera on the back, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and packs in the same metallic body. The device has a built-in 150 MB of memory and microSD card slot that supports up to 321GB. The Wave Y is powered by a 1200 mAh battery and weighs 102.4 grams.
Another feature all these three smartphones share is NFC capability as an option along with Samsung proprietary ChatON, Media Hub, and Kies services. The three bada 2.0 [powered smartphones are expected to be featured at IFA 2011 that takes place in Berlin this week ans we hope that release date and pricing will be revealed soon.
