Samsung’s new 512GB SSD PM830 with SATA Revision 3 interface unveiled with full Features
Samsung has released a new SSD with a model number PM830. The new SSD has fast SATA Revision 3 interface good for 6Gb/s of data throughput. Sample production begun back in May is targeting at ultra-slim notebooks and tablets and expected to see the new SSD with upcoming devices soon.
The SSD will be available up to 512GB in capacity and shortens boot time to about ten seconds. Samsung shold be expecting a complete replacement of SATA 3Gb/s SSDs by the ed of 2001 with new 6Gb/s. The derive has enough performance to download up to five DVD video files in under a minute. The SSDs features most advanced 20nm class 32-gigabit MLC NAND memory chip inside with a toggle DDR interface and a proprietary NAND controller.
The new SSD will provide sequential read speeds of up to 500MB/s with sequential write speeds of 350MB/s. Dont worry about data theft, the new SSD is coming with data protection for security features, data is protected with AES 256-bit encryption. there are 256 and 128GB of SSDs available other than 500GB and all three units will be offered for AES 256-bit encryption.
