Acer Aspire 3951 Price, Specs and Release date leaked
A few weeks ago we mentioned the Acer Aspire 3951 and some of its details, but the latest news include real and leaked photos of the laptop, as well as a release date and rumored price range. The Ultrabook S3, also known as Aspire 3951, is having similarity to any other windows notebook when considering the configuration. The specifications list of the Ultrabook include an Intel Core i5-2467M processor along with a RAM of 4 GB and internal storage of 320 GB hard disk (an optional 20 GB SSD is also available).
There were renderings of the Aspire 3951 which came out previously but these genuine-looking pictures are reportedly the first photos of a pre-production model of the ultrabook. The photos of the ultrabook are, however, a bit chunkier than previous renderings which made the rounds on the internet and the Aspire 3951 also somewhat appears to be plastic-like despite it being metal.
The Ultrabook features a screen of 13.3 inches. The name ‘Ultrabook’ is becoming of the gadget considering its thickness. The Ultrabook is just 13 mm thick, which is very much lesser than the Apple MacBook models.
Another notable feature that’s included in the device is the Chiclet keyboard and a large touchpad. Acer is expected to bring updates on the Italian variation like an Intel Sandy Bridge processor, 500 GB or 160 GB hard disk drives, HDMI, two USB ports, MMC compatible card reader/SD card, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Aspire 3951 is also said to be only 13mm-thick and Acer’s JT Wang has said just last week that Acer may release an ultrabook for around $800 by September.
