Archos 101 and 80 G9 Tablets Pre-order begins on September 20th; Releasing in October

Archos has finally announced that the recently unveiled Honeycomb tablets which was named Archos G9 tablet would be available for pre-order starting on September 20th with an expected release in October. The tablets include both 10.1 inch and 8 inch variants and both will go on pre-order on the date.

The tablet was first announced a few months back and displayed at IFA 2011. Both Archos 101 and 80 G9 tablets are powered by a 1GHz Arm Cortex A9 dual core processor and features Android 3.2 Honeycomb, supports Flash, apps, email, and all the other things we expect from an Android tablet.

ARCHOS G9 tablets  are also coming with a suite of Google mobile applications including Google Talk with video chat, Gmail, Youtube, Google Maps with Street View and Navigation (beta) and Google Calendar.

Archos 101 G9 tablet comes in two version that include a 16GB  and 250GB version, priced at $399 and $469 respectively while the Archos 80 G9 with 16GB  for $329 and the 250GB version for $369. The 250GB version of each model use a HDD inside and the other version uses flash storage. There will be a third version of the tablets with 8GB of storage capacity on board and 1GHz processor for a price of $299 and it is expected to be available in stores on September 30.
