AT&T 4G LTE Network Release Date to be September 18
Finally it seems that the consumers of AT&T are closer to the time to enjoy the LTE goodness, we have been hearing about the HTC LTE service for a while and recently the Company released couple of devices that support LTE. Now it seems that AT&T is set to announce the LTE and launch the service. HTC has released its first LTE enabled Android Tablet named HTC Jetstream that was previously known as HTC Puccini.
T&T CFO John Stephens revealed that his carrier will finally be flipping the switch on its LTE network this Sunday, September 18th, first the LTE service will be available in five market that include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston as well as plans to add an additional 10 markets before the end of 2011.
In August the company released the hotspots and USB sticks that support LTE. After the launch of the LTE service on AT&T, we may see more devices that support LTE like HTC holiday. We can also expect a powerful Smartphone like Motorola Droid Bionic on the network soon, and there is a rumor that Samsung Galaxy S II with 4G LTE could be the one.
