Gateway TP Series A60 Tablet released as a rebranded Acer A500; Priced $400

Company Gateway (under the control of Acer) without any formal submissions, began shipping its own 10.1-inch tablet Android-A60, relating to the TP series and are essentially tablektoy Acer A500.

That being said, the specs and price may also seem familiar, but hey, there has to be someone that would prefer to buy this tablet as a Gateway device. Anyway, the Future Shop listing has the TP Series A60 tablet priced at $399.99 and that comes along with a free 16GB microSD storage card and the ability to get both free shipping and also $50 off on the purchase of any printer. Not sure of the tie in with printers and tablets, but if that is what you are shopping for, than a $50 savings could be nice. Especially when the deal is “get $50 off all printers over $50 with any tablet.” In other words, you could score an almost free printer.

New works on a processor Nvidia Tegra 2 SoC (ARM core has two on each 1GHz), the operating system Android 3.1 Honeycomb. Resolution 10.1-inch screen tablet thickness 1.3sm is 1280 x 800 pixels.

The novelty has 1GB of memory and 16GB of constant, can offer a 5-and 2-megapixel camera, memory card slot SDHC, module 802.11 b / g / n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, two USB ports and a battery capacity 6.520mAh, which will last for 8 hours on a single charge.

The cost of the tablet is about $404 USD.
