HP introduces ZR2740w, ZR2440w, ZR2240w, and ZR2040w IPS Displays; Specs, Price and Release Date
HP has unveiled eight new monitors that include four from its HP ZR-series that use IPS panels and other four displays include one affordable HP Compaq model for business and three digital signage models. The HP models that include HP ZR2740w, ZR2440w, ZR2240w, and ZR2040w ZR-Series Performance Displays are 27″, 24″, 21.5 and 20 inch respectively and all of them features the latest LED backlit IPS panel with higher contrast ratio.
The HP ZR2740w is the first 27″ monitor that can provide more than 1 billion onscreen colors for smooth color transitions while other three can offer up to 16.7 million onscreen colors. The HP ZR2240w and ZR2440w provide 2-million-to-1 dynamic contrast ratios. The ZR series displays range from $189 to $729 and you can buy it right now.
The Compaq model HP Compaq LE202x comes with thin profile and features 21.5-inch LED display features full HD 1920×1080 resolution with fast 5ms response time. It is priced at $179 and will be released starting September 19.
Finally the HP Digital Signage Displays that include LD4220tm and LD4720tm are 42″ and 47 inch wide respectively and features full HD 1080p widescreen LCD multi-touch displays geared for 24/7 usage in retail applications. Pricing and release date for these dis-plays are not revealed but expected to go on sale in September or October.
