HTC to release Titan and Radar Windows Phone Mango Smartphones in October; Specs evealed
HTC has finally unveiled its most anticipate Windows Mango devices, the Eternity and Omega. As expected the devices names have been replaced by official names that are Titan and Radar respectively. Both devices have been leaked numerous times before and you may have already known almost features of these devices.
The HTC Titan codenamed as Eternity is a smartphone powered by Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset and features a huge 4.7″ S-LCD WVGA displa, a 1.5GHz single-core processor, Adreno 205 GPU and 512MB RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with 28mm lens, back-illuminated sensor, F2.2 aperture and a dual-LED flash, an HD camcorder and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera.
For connectivity the Titan sports such as HSPA, Wi-Fi N with DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a microHDMI port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device has 16GB internal memory and a secondary microphone for active noise-cancellation.
On the other hand, the HTC Radar previously known as Omega is powered by a 1GHz CPU and features a 3.8-inch S-LCD WVGA display, Adreno 205 GPU and 512MB RAM. Other features include an 8 megapixel (28mm lens, back-illuminated sensor, F2.2 aperture) shooter with single LED flash, 720p video recording. The connectivity option include HSPA, Wi-Fi N with DLNA, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack, Unfortunately the device lacks HDMI port and secondary video-call camera or secondary microphone. The HTC Radar is also running on Windows Phone Mango.
Both the HTC Radar and Titan have unibody designs but Radar features battery that is not removable. HTC will be offering docks for both devices separately as accessories, docking the devices automatically switches the devices into a landscape-focused dock mode. Both HTC Titan and Radar WP 7 Mango devices will be released in October. The pricing is yet to be revealed.
