Motorola Droid 2 Global 2.3 Gingerbread OTA Update releases
Finally the Motorola Droid 2 Global is also getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the Smartphone was launched in 2010 and has been running on Android 2.2 Froyo so far, and now the time has come for the Droid Global too and tasting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread now. The company has started to roll out the Gingerbread for the device.
Now you can update the Smartphone that comes powered by 1.2GHz processor and features 3.7-inch capacitive display and packs a 5 megapixel camera. The update size is 103MB and If you haven’t got the alert yet, you can check the update manually by going Menu > Settings > About Phone > System Update to get the Gingerbread goodness started. The update should take 10-15 minutes.
