Samsung to release Galaxy S II 4G LTE and HD LTE Smartphones in Korea; Specs revealed
Samsung has finally unveiled its new versi0on of its flagship Galaxy S II Smartphone in Korea. new version comes in two models that include 4G LTE and HD LTE. The latter one comes with a huge 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display running at 1280 x 720 resolution, while the Galaxy S II LTE version packs 4.5-inch display.
When it comes to specs, both models have a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under the hood and features an 8-megapixel main camera with autofocus and Full HD 1080p video recording along with a front-facing camera for video calls, 16GB of internal storage – plus a microSD card slot – and GSM/HSPA+ roaming for when you’re outside of South Korea’s 4G cosseting. both the Galaxy S II LTE and Galaxy S II HD LTE are thin at 9.5mm deep, even accommodating a 1850 mAh battery.
For connectivity, both model sports WiFi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 along with 4G LTE support and NFC apart from the 4G LTE support.
Samsung Galaxy S II LTE will be offered exclusively via SK Telecom, while the Galaxy S II HD LTE will go on sale through SK Telecom, KT and LG U+. We currently have no idea if the company has any plan to bring either or both models to Europe and US as well as other parts of the world, but hope it has.
