Samsung’s new Galaxy Note with 5.3″ Display unveiled; Specs and Hands-on Video
Samsung has unveiled a new and a bigger device, that doesn’t mean bigger than the tablet but Smartphones. the new device is a beast with 5.3″ display and all telephony features. The device looks the same as Galaxy S II in design and better one for those who need a device between a tablet and normal Smartphone. The device is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Note and features a built-in stylus and support for pen input. The device surely makes many new features that we haven’t seen on normal Smartphones yet and will surely attract many especially because it is very thin and sleek.
The Samsung Galaxy Not powered by a dual-core 1.4GHz processor also sports a 5.3″ WXGA (1280×800) screen (285ppi), 1GB RAM, Mali-400MP GPU, 8MP with 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel camera on the front side. The device is pretty thin only measuring 0.38 inches (9.65mm) and weighs 6.3 ounces (178g). The Stylus has a dedicated apps such as S Planner, S Memo. The new Galaxy Not is running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread right out of the box with a TouchWiz flavor, so you will be able ti use Gtalk and more features.
For connectivity the device has both LTE and HSPA+ that supporting up to 21Mbps on the downlink and other usual features like Bluetooth® technology v 3.0 ＋ HS, USB 2.0 HOST, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and WiFi Direct. It gets power from a with 2,500mAh Battery. There will be a selection of accessories for the Samsung Galaxy Note such as a pen holder for the stylus, a dock and even a car holder.
