Windows Phone Mango Update finally releases today

There was  a report that the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update would be released in a week or two a few days ago and now it seems that the day for the update has come finally. After a long time of wait and speculations on the Mango update, the mango will be knocking your Windows Phone starting today, so keep an eye on your device whatever carrier you may be. The update is coming with hundreds of new features that was announced a few months ago.

Apart from the Mango update, Windows Phone users will also be able to surf through Web Marketplace and search for app that you need and get it downloaded directly on your Smartphone. Unfortunately Microsoft confirmed to us that Internet Sharing — the long-awaited mobile hotspot functionality — will not be available for existing devices. It is to be known that this will be available through future update for the device.

you will have to download and install the update to your device yourself. Microsoft is also offering new version of the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac as well as for the Zune software for PCs, which have been improved to speed up the update process and for more control over your backups.
