ASUS Transformer 2 Tablet Release Date November 7th?

Recently there was report that Asus would price the next version of its flagship Android Honeycomb tablet Eee Pad Transformer at $499 and we were waiting for some hint on  its release. ASUS CEO had already said that it has plan to release its new Android tablet by the end of this year and now it seems that it’s further closer.

UK retailer LambdaTek has listed the tablet Transformer 2 on its website with a model number of TF201-1I020A, not only that the retailer has also revealed a release date for the device. According to the retailer, ASUS Quad-core tablet will be released on November 7th and it’s only some weeks away.

The retailer  also has price details, the tablet  is priced at £448. Other details include the little specs too. The device comes with Quad-core Tegra 3 processor and will feature 32GB storage, 1GB RAM, and Android Honeycomb (3.x).  It’s also possible that device may finally come with Ice Cream Sandwich, the Tegra 3 device should be very powerful and can’t think that ASUS would come with the same version of Android.

Interesting thing is that even while it is so closer if the report is true, there hasn’t been any leak of the device yet.Anyway it should be more surprising.
