Dell Latitude ST Windows 7 Tablet official; Specs and Release DateDell has finally unveiled its next generation business tablet Dell Latitude ST, the tablet had been on rumor. The Dell Latitude ST is a Windows 7 Powered 10.1 inch tablet. not only that the OS is customized version of the Windows 7 Enterprise edition, so you can use the device with ease unlike other Windows 7 tablets which might be trickier to use on touch-based devices.

The tablet is powered by  a1.5GHz Atom Z670 and features 10.1-inch display with 1366 x 768, 2GB of DDR2 RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The device also features USB, SD and HDMI ports. The company will also offer accessories like Dock and keyboard. The standard model is with WiFi and the Dell has plan to bring 3G version of the device. The  the tablet has dual front and rear cameras and claimed to have 8 hours of battery life.

According to the company, Dell will release Windows 8 tablet, even though an upgrade to Windows 8 is not in the card. The Latitude ST can run virtualization technology from VMware and Citrix, and the tablet can be remotely configured and managed the same way as a PC.

The Dell Latitude ST Windows 7 tablet will be released on November 1 in 53 countries. Unfortunately the company hasn’t revealed any price details of the tablet, but expects it to be revealed soon. Check out the video below and feel free to drop your comment in the box.
