Motorola teases new device to be unveiled on October 18th; expected to be Droid RAZR

We have been talking about Droid RAZR for a while and the device has been leaked many time. Now it seems that the time for the device to be unveiled is getting closer and the Motorola has already teased it with video. The video gives almost all clue for its power and style. The device seems to be ultra thin.

The Motorola is expected to hold an event on 18 October 2011 and debut the device at the event. The video also shows the date event though the teaser doesn’t say anything about the device specifically other than some clues. Interestingly the teaser video where an image of a razor blade pops up in the 14 second mark, leaves little to the imagination. The video also says about the device “Faster. Thinner. Smarter. Stronger.”

The DROID RAZR was first leaked a few months ago with Droid Bionic. The Motorola Droid HD aka RaZR features 8 megapixel main camera, capable of recording 1080p videos, a front-facing snapper for  video-chats,  a microUSB port and an HDMI port on the ultra-slim body. The display is expected to have 1280 x 720 pixels.

There is also some rumor perhaps more than just the RAZR will be revealed at the event. Such as updates for the Motorola Xoom tablet and possibly its successor? Check out the video below to see the teaser in action. It has been speculated that perhaps more than just the RAZR will be revealed at the event.
