Verizon releases Motorola XOOM Tablet with 4G LTE Built-in; pricing $499 on Contract
Verizon has finally released its LTE version of Motorola XOOM LTE tablet on its network and available for purchase now. The tablet was first launched with 3G connectivity as LTE upgradeable but was not LTE built-in, consumers who purchase the device now can have the tablet with built-in LTE radio.
The tablet launched first with Honeycomb 3.0 features a 10.1-inch display, a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of RAM. The device also features a 5 megapixel camera that can record video in 720p HD and a front-facing 2 megapixel camera for video call.
The 4G LTE ready Motorola Xoom is available in a 32GB model only. The device is priced at $499 with a two-year contract or $669 off contract. It’s to be known if the consumers will be ready to afford such a price for the device now.
