AT&T LG Nitro HD LTE Smartphone announced; Specs, Price and Release Date
AT&T finally announced its next Android LTE device named LG Nitro HD. The LG Nitro HD Smartphone is third LTE device on the carrier after the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the HTC Vivid. The device is as powerful as other high end LTE devices out there and can compete with big screen Smartphones with 4.5 inch display.
The device is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU and sports 4.5” display at 1280x720p resolution, 1 GB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera on the back. The Smartphone also has HSPA+ apart from the LTE connectivity and will help you keep connected with high speed internet where AT&T LTE is not available. the phone’s radio will work on all of the 15 LTE markets available on AT&T. The whole body is amongst the slimmest at 5.27” X 2.67” X 0.41”.
The LG Nitro HD is coming with 4GB of on board memory and features microSD card slot with a 16GB card in the box. The display is at 500 nit and AH-IPS technology. The connectivity also includes Wi-Fi Direct. The LG Nitro HD is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and an ICS update can be expected, not confirmed though.
According to AT&T, the LG Nitro HD release date is December 4th and price has been set at $249.99 with a two-year contract.
