Lenovo to release LePad aka IdeaTab S2005 Tabletphone; Specs revealedAfter the Samsung Galaxy Note, here is a new tabletphone from Lenovo to compete with Samsung named LePad S2005 which will be known as IdeaTab outside of China. Lenovo’s new Tabletphone is Android and coming with a huge 5 inch display which is comparatively smaller than the Galaxy Note though.

The LePad S2005 is powered by  1.2GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM a and features  a 5-inch 800 x 480 LTPS display at 178-degree viewing angles, a 5-megapixel main camera, a 1.3-megapixel front camera for Video call. The rear camera is capable of shooting videos at  1080p. The device is running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.

The connectivity includes HDMI port, microUSB and HSPA+. You get these all stuffs in a a 9.95mm-thick body and weighs 198g. The device gets its power from a  a 1,680mAh battery.Specwise the Galaxy Note is superior than the LePad S2005, Lenovo failed even in keeping resolution at qHD, the Galaxy Note has 1280 x 800 display and advanced digitizer technology.

Anyway let’s hope the Lenovo prices the device reasonably, currently no idea about the pricing and release date in other market even though China will get it in two days. The Lenovo LePad S2005 is expected to be released in other markets in December. What do you think about the device?
