Microsoft reportedly to bring Office for iPad soon

Microsoft reportedly to bring Office for iPad soonEven though the Apple iPad keeps the supremacy in Tablet sale, Microsoft hasn’t been able to utilize its Office on iPad devices, now it seems that the company has a plan to bring a version of the software for the iPad and Microsoft is reportedly “actively working” on it. If it is true, the Office will challenge Apple’s own  Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps. According to Daily, the package may include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Currently only Windows based tablets run the Office while iPad owners use  iWork bundle. The Office for the iPad really makes sense a lot when we know the supremacy of the Apple iPad in the market. It seems that the Microsoft and its team is slowly waking up. The Steve Balmer has already confirmed that the company’s engineers were looking at how Office could be reworked in the Metro style of Windows 8 during Build 2011 earlier in the year.

Anyway, it is not sure when the Office for the iPad will be released, but expects the software in months.  The Individual titles for iPad office package is expected to be priced around $10, not sure though. While people are gradually turning to tablets from Laptop, an application like Office for tablets are more useful  and where it makes more sense.
