Verizon Samsung Droid Charge 4G 2.3 Gingerbread Update released

After a long wait and delay in releasing the Gingerbread for the Verizon Droid Charge 4G, the update has started to roll out. The Droid charge was  powerful Smartphone with LTE capability when the device was launched even though the device is powered by Single-core 1GHz Hummingbird processor under the hood.

With this update the users will have new feeling while using the device with new features of the Gingerbread that include new Download Manager app ,  improved power management, a new UI and some new widgets. The updaste will also bring security improvements for the device as well as better microSD card encryption.
