ASUS Eee Pad MeMo to come with Ice Cream Sandwich in January; Transformer Prime Release Date December 19
It has been almost a few moths since we last heard about the ASUS Eee Pad Memo 7″ Android tablet and now it seems that the device will be decorated with Ice Cream Sandwich other than Honeycomb. When it was first revealed in the CES 2011, introduced as Honeycomb device, but the device has already undergone some changes.
The first changes we heard for the device were glasses free 3D and a stylus and now Ice Cream Sandwich. The device will be shipped with a small Bluetooth handset named MeMic that will let you make calls, listen to audio and act as a remote for media.
According to the new info the device is expected to hit the market in January 2012 that is just one month away. The device will be offered though carriers.
Meanwhile, the ASUS Eee Pad transformer Prime is reportedly set to be released on December 19 in the US. Even though there was a report that the device would be released in the US on December 8th, According to Android Central the date is December 19th and they claim that they got the info from ASUS itself.
The ASUS Transformer Prime will be the first Quad-core Tegra 3 tablet in the market but the device will be coming with Honeycomb, not Ice Cream Sandwich. Surely the ICE will be delivered for the device as update.
