Images of Acer Iconia A700 Tablet spotted; to be unveiled at CES 2012?CES is getting closer and we are getting some glimpse on new devices for 2012, now here is images of new tablet from Acer leaked from Russia. Just yesterday Acer chief Stan Shih teased a high end device for 2012 and it didn’t take a long time for a leak. When it comes to specs, the device should be appealing to gadget lovers worldwide.

According to reports, the tablet will be known as Acer Iconia Tab A700, 2012 standard for the tablet will be Tegra 3 processor and it is not a good idea to come with old dual-core processor. If the prediction and the rumors regarding  to its specs stay right, the A700 will be coming with a Quad-core Tegra 3 processor and feature 10.1-inch display with 1920x1200p resolution, a 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a front-facing  camera with capability of HD video capture.

Connectivity include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, HDMI port, 3G connectivity, and a slot for microSD cards. Interestingly, the tablet is reportedly coming with beefed up 9,8000 mAh battery that should be better for 10 hours of  video playback. The tablet seems to weigh 1.43 pounds that may not be cool thing to know. One of the main question that remains unanswered is about the version of the Android OS, Anyway Ice Cream Sandwich can be expected for the device.

After all, all these info comes from prediction and rumors, so take it with grain of salt  and you won’t have to be surprised if this goes wrong. The Iconia Tab 700 is expected to be official at CES 2012.
