ASUS B23E 12.5 inch Ultraportable Laptop official with Specs and Price

2012 will mostly be year of ultrabooks and companies like Acer and Dell have already introduced their devices recently but what to expect from the ASUS?. Certainly ASUS also has an ultraportable laptop and have unveiled officially. ASUS has named the laptop B23E and will be offered with Intel’s core i series processor.

The ASUS B23E ultrportable laptop will be offered with optional Intel Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 processor and comes in a black casing the device features 12.5-inch 1366 x 768 pixel LED backlit anti-glare display,  up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and 750GB of hard drive. The laptop also features 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, and gigabit Ethernet for connectivity and ports include USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port, and a USB/eSATA combo port.

Other features include business oriented gems as LoJack, BIOS password protection, and a fingerprint reader. The whole these feature are in a magnesium alloy case and the contents are protected with an anti-shock hard drive. The laptop only has  1.1-inch thick  and measures 12-inch by 8.1-inch. The ultraportable laptop should be good for everyday usage as well as business users,  it is not flashy though. Getting things done with the laptop will not be a problem.

When it comes to operating system, ASUS B23E will be offered optional Windows 7 Home, Professional, or Ultimate operating systems. The ASUS B23E  with Windows 7 Home Premium and an Intel Core i7 processor is priced between $922 and $999. Availability of the laptop is still a mystery.
