AT&T HTC Titan II gets through FCC
In 2012 we can expect more Windows Phone 7 Smartphone, and there will be LTE Smartphones running on the platform for the first time in the history of Windows Phone devices. Nokia has already unveiled its AT&T bound Windows Phone 7.5 LTE Smartphone, meanwhile, there is a rival to Nokia Lumia 900 from HTC on the same carrier named Titan II with LTE support and the Smartphone has finally passed FCC with AT&T-flavored radios.
The Smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz single-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and features huge 4.7” Super-LCD display with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution and 16-megapixel auto-focus camera on the rear side with a dual-LED flash, wide-angle F2.6 lens. The camera is capable of shooting 720p video but which is a bit low while many new devices are coming with 1080p video recording.
The Titan will be bearing a large battery for the better timing with LTE enabled Smartphone and avoid draining. It is not sure when the Smartphone would hit the carrier, but the rumor suggests a release date of the same March 18 when the Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to be released. When it comes to pricing, the HTC Titian II could be priced at $199.99 with two year contract on the AT&T, while Nokia Lumia 900 is rumored to be priced excitingly low at $99.Which one would you prefer?
