CES 2012: Asus MeMO 370T 7″ Tablet with Tegra 3 Processor and Specs revealed; releasing in Q2
As we expected, Asus has finally unveiled its mini version of the Eee Pad at CES 2012 namely ASUS Eee Pad MeMO 370T, it will be the first Tegra 3 Quad-core 7 incher with Ice Cream sandwich on board. The new tablet will be targeting crowd seeking budget devices with some nice goodies under the hood.
The tablet is powered by Tegra 3 and running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and features 7″ display with 1280 x 800. The tablet also features 1GB of RAM, 8 MP camera on the rear side, a front-facing camera too, Android Market access and Google support.The tablet has micro-usb, micro-hdmi, and also a micro-SD slot.
The tablet has been covered by a hard plastic with the same radial-spun design as the Prime. The tablet has neat design even though it is not as thin as its big brother Transformer Prime. The tablet should be blazing fast with the Tegra 3 processor under the hood and the Ice Cream Sandwich will boost its performance.
The tablet will bear a $249 magic price, and it is really a competitive pricing and seems that the device will attract many when it hits the market.Many other tablets like Galaxy Tab, even Amazon Kindle Fire and other 7 inchers will be challenged by the new Asus Eee Pad MeMO 370T in the market. Consumers are more likely to prefer the Asus Eee Pad MeMO with Tegra 3 for $250 rather than other low-end tablets even if they are near $200. Asus hasn’t revealed exact release date for the tablet, but the tablet is expected to be released early in Q2 2012. What do you think about the tablet?
