HP introduces VantagePoint 132" multitouch Display

HP has introduced its new massive display with multitouch functionality, it wouldn’t be good idea to have it for personal usage, the mobile and tablet displays are more than enough for that. The VantagePoint may be ideal for showrooms, educational environments and offices. HP should be seeing a great market in business sectors like executive briefing centers, showrooms, retail, financial services, automotive, airline, consumer packaged goods and the government. .

The Vantage Poin measure 132″ diagonally and include 6 six of HP’s LD4730G 47-inch Ultra-Micro Bezel displays. The Display is covered by a layer of Gorilla Glass. The Vantage Point can be connected with  cable and satellite TV, as well as any streaming content from online or via a DVD, DVR or Blu-ray player.

The display stands 7 feet height with a width of 11 feet and HP’s Z800 workstation will be used to manage  heavy stuff  like video and image processing.  The VantagePoin powered by Windows 7 with support for custom apps coded in JavaScript, Flash, C++, C# or Microsoft Presentation Framework and augmented reality software by Total Immersion has also been included. Anyway, HP hasn’t revealed anything about price and release date for VantagePoint.
