Image of Olympus OM-D Camera surfaced; expected to debut on February 8
It seems that the Olympus is on its way to introduce its next generation OM-D Micro Four Thirds camera and the first teaser image has potted. The OM-D seems to be the first digital camera to join its well-known OM series. the Olympus OM series camera is about to mark its 40th year.
The leaked image doesn’t show much and only a part of the camera is seen in the pi and seem to be well-built with strong casing. The OM-D is anticipated to sport 16-MP sensor with High Dynamic Range, FAST AF, 3D tracking, and a five-axis image stabilizer. The Body seems to be a magnesium, weather-sealed that weighs 373 grams. The camera will offer a 3-inch 610,000 pixel OLED tilting preview screen as well as ISO options of 200 up to 25,600 and a built-in digital viewfinder with 1.44 million dots resolution.
Olympus has trademarked the OM-D name and there was a add campaign with letters “O” and “M”. According to some reports, the Olympus is expected to unveil the camera at press event on February 8. The company also teased with a “coming soon” title on its website.
