Samsung Series 5 Ultrabook on Pre-order in US

Samsung’s Series 5 Ultrabook has gone for pre-order in US, but yet the  release date for the Ultrabook is still unknown. Samsung hasn’t announced anything regarding to its release in US , the device was first announced in Korea and went on sale  last month though.  Now the Ultrabook has been listed by J&R.

The Samsung Ultrabook is powered by 1.6GHz Core i5-2467M processor and sports 13.3-inch anti-reflective display with   1366 x 768  resolution and 4GB of RAM.The Ultrabook is coming with a 500GB hard-drive  rather than SSD storage with 16GB of ExpressCache.

The laptop also features Intel HD Graphics 3000, 1.3-megapixel webcam and 4W speakers. and for connectivity, the device has WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0+HS  and WiDi support. Ports include two USB 2.0, a single USB 3.0, a combo audio in/out and HDMI. There  is also a a multiformat memory card slot along with gigabit ethernet.

The release date hasn’t been revealed on J&R either and it is “coming soon”. The laptop with  these configuration is priced at $899.99.
