Samsung to release Galaxy S Advance; Specs revealed
While Samsung fans are waiting for the announcement of the anticipated Samsung Galaxy S 3, the company has announced another variant of its flagship Smartphone Galaxy S II. The Smartphone dubbed Galaxy S Advance with model number of Samsung GT-i9070 is reminiscent of the Galaxy Nexus in design design that has curved form factor.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is powered by a 1GHz ST-Ericsson NOVATHOR U8500 dual-core processor along with 768MB of RAM and features a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, 5MP rear camera with capability of shooting 720p videos, a front-facing camera for your video call purposes and 6GB of internal memory.
Unfortunately, the Smartphone will be running on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread right out of the box while users are expecting ICS, yet hope will not be waste since the dual-core device hints an update in the future to ICS. The Samsung Galaxy S Advance has 1500mAh battery for the juice.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance is expected to be released at MWC in Barcelona, when it comes to pricing, it shouldn’t break you bank, the price is yet to be revealed though.
