Toshiba to launch 10.1″ thinnest tablet at CES 2012; 7″ Tablet leaks ahead of CES
A thinnest tablet from Toshiba has been on rumor for a while, we are excited to know more about the device as the CES is getting closer. When it comes to specs there is no much info other than benchmark revealed a quad-core Toshiba tablet touted to be the world’s thinnest.
Meanwhile, there has been leak of 7″ tablet from Toshiba, the tablet appeared on NotebookItalia. It is not sure about the name of the device but expected to be budget friendly. The tablet is expected to feature 7″ display with 1024 x 600 resolution, and come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. In contrast with the old 7″ tablet, this one seems to be slightly thinner and longer.
Other features are WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD and microUSB as well as rear camera without flash. It is more likely to be competitor with cheap tablet like Nook and Galax Tab 7 Plus devices. The tablet is expected for CES 2012 along with the thinnest 10.1″ tablet.
