ASUS starts rolling out the 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update for Eee Pad Transformer
Finally the flagship Android Tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer from ASUS has started to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update as promised . ASUS Eee Pad Transformer which is predecessor of the Eee Pad Transformer Prime that was already updated to ICS. ASUS kept its promise finally without a further delay for the update.
The Transformer Update was supposed to be rolled out by the end of the January, but ASUS pushed it to February. Company promises it will always support the older devices even though it plans to reveal many new products at the MWC 2012.
Samsung said that “we are delighted to announce that the first wave of FOTA updates for TF101 firmware v.22.214.171.124 started in Taiwan”. The update will bring many improvements and new features for the device. ASUS Transformer has always been flagship with its unique features, form-factor and reasonable price as well as powerful specs under the hood since it was released. Transformer is the first tablet to come with a separate keyboard dock that helps the users to have an experience of both tablet and a netbook.
