HP to release Z1 All-in-One Workstation in April; Specs and Price
HP has expanded its All-in-One desktop with new All-in-One Workstation, the Workstation named HP Z1 Workstation is mainly targeted at those who need a comfortable and power. The Z1 All-in-One was announced at their workstation event in Las Vegas. The Workstation is 27″ wider and all the space you want for this one is small space.
Interesting thing under the hood for the Z1 Workstation is that All the components are full desktop parts, not laptop silicon like consumer-grade all in ones and will ensure the high performance and seems to have been designed with high-end work in mind. The Chasiss is specially designed the way users can easily upgrade if it is necessary and can be handled without any hassle.
The Z1 All-in-One Workstation is powered by Intel Core and Xeon processors and features a a 27-inch 2560×1440 IPS display, optional fastest traditional hard drives and SSDs, Intel integrated graphics but you also have an option for an Nvidia Quadro up to the Q400M, a full-sized PCI-e 16x slot on the motherboard and a full-sized PCI-e 16x slot on the motherboard.
The HP Z1 Workstation also features standard DVD-RW with Blu-ray reader and writer option, 4 DIMM slots for up to a 32GBs of DDR3 memory and power adapter of 400 watts. Ports and slots are included on the side that include USB 3.0, Firewire, a card reader and standard audio. On the back there are some other ports like various audio out (including sub-woofer) Display Port and high-speed data transfers.
If you want to mount the system, you can just do it by removing the stand and mount it on a standard VESA mount. The HP Z1 All-in-One Workstation may not be prior system for home users but professionals like Graphic designers, video editors and 3D modelers.
