MWC 2012: Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD ICS Tablet with Quad-Core Processor official with Specs
Even the usual id range device makers are jumping into the high-end devices, now here Huawei has unveiled its next flagship Android tablet on its MediaPad lineup, named MediaPad 10 FHD. The Tablet haas very pleasant formfactor with a thin body like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and somewhat the MediPad resembles the Galaxy Tab itself. But what it makes special to us is its high-end specs under the hood while the Android Ice Cream Sandwich flows on the screen.
There is nothing special to its build quality, features Aluminum Unibody but still looks quite good and only weighs 598 g and thickness is only 8.8 mm that makes it easy to carry with.
The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD has an exciting 10.1″ IPS display with terrible resolution at 1920×1200 pixels and high pixel density around 226 pixels per inch that is in fact higher than what any ultrabook, tablet or netbook out there can match. . The MediaPad 10 FHD is powered by a quad-core processor, you might be expecting the same Tegra 3, but this device stands out from the crowd with a Huawei’s proprietary quad-core K3V2 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, and you will be surprised when you know that the Meidapad 10 FDH is coming with 2GB RAM unlike other high-end tablets out there.
Other features include An 8 MP camera with autofocus on the back, a 1.3MP front-facing camera and HSPA+ speeds plus LTE taking care of the connectivity.
Unfortunately Huawei hasn’t revealed anything regarding to its release and pricing but expected to be available in Q2, It seems that the tablet market will see more interesting devices and increasing numbers of the high-end tablets from different companies in the Market may lead to price drop as well. Huawei has also announced its Quad-core Ascend D series Smartphones.
