MWC 2012: Nokia Lumia 610 Windows Phone offcial; Specs, Price and Hands-on Video
Nokia was rumored to introduce 3 Smartphones at this MWC and among them, Nokia has unveiled its affordable Windows Phone Smartphone Nokia Lumia 610. The Smartphone looks somewhat the Lumia 710 by its design and comes in varieties of colors for you to choose from.
As an affordable Smartphone, you may not expect a high-end specs under the hood, the Nokia Lumia 610 is powered by a 800MHz processor along with 256MB of RAM and sports h a 3.7″ WVGA TFT LCD screen, a 5-MP camera with auto-focus and a LED flash and 8GB of buit-in storage.
For connectivity, you have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and GPS as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack and microUSB port. The Nokia Lumia 610 gets its power from a 1300mAh battery that will offer a 7.50 hours talk time and 22.1 days stand-by time.
It is expected to ship with Windows Phone Tango on board, Nokia promises smooth experience that you would expect on a Windows Phone devices, but it seems that some features like Bing Local Scout and automatic SkyDrive uploads will be omitted from the device. And there will be Nokia’s flavor with Maps, Drive, and Nokia Transport with bus and subway directions for over 500 cities that will augment WP.
The Nokia Lumia 610 is priced at around $255 (189 euro) and will be available in white, cyan, magenta and black. The Nokia Lumia 610 Windows Phone release date is expected to be n Q2 2012.
