Samsung Galaxy Beam Smartphone with built-in Projector announced ahead of MWC 2012; Specs revealed
While the MWC is around the corner, Samsung has announced it s new Smartphone among the devices that we expect to see at the MWC. The new Smartphone named Samsung Beam is an interesting Smartphone with built-in projector that uses a 15 lumens lamp that is capable of projecting a 50-inch wide high-definition image.
Users can project the contents like images and videos stored in the Smartphone directly onto the wall, ceilings or improvised flat surfaces, so your friends and family can also enjoy things you want to share. The device also features a projector-dedicated application which makes it easy to select content and activate projection in a few simple steps.
When ti comes to specs, the Samsung Galaxy Beam Smartphone stand between mid and high-end devices, Galaxy Beam is powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and sports a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera and 8GB internal storage. The Smartphone also features microSD card slot and 2,000mAh battery, unfortunately the galaxy Beam is coming with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board right out of the box, but certainly we can expect an update to ICS sooner than later.
Anyway, Samsung hasn’t revealed its release date or price, we expect more details about the Smartphone at MWC, so stay tuned.
