Samsung to release Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet; Specs and Hands-on
Samsung has a new Android tablet for this MWC on its 10.1 Galaxy Tab series, named Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, is a first Android ICS tablet to come out of the Samsung. The tablet is identical to the original 10.1 Galaxy Tab in many ways including features, even though the device is a bit thicker than the previous paper thin Android Honeycomb tablet.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU and packs 1 GB of RAM and packs a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels, a 3 MP camera on the rear side, captures 1080p video and a VGA unit at the front for video call.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1″ ICS series offered in two versions that include 16GB and 32GB and features a microSD card slot on both versions. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 measures at 9.7mm thin and weighs at 588g which is a bit more than the original version at 8.6mm thickness and 560g weight. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Android Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet gets juice from a 7000 mAh batteries. The tablet will be available in both WiFi and 3G version when it comes to market.
