ViewSonic announces two 3.5″ and a 5″ Dual-SIM Android ICS Smartphones
Device makers are busy introducing new devices ahead of MWC 2012, here are three new Smartphones fromViewSonic that range from standard 3.5″ Smartphones to 5″ phoneblet and all are running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and features dual-SIM slots that make them first Android ICS Dual-SIM Smartphones.
The first one of the three with best specs is called ViewSonic 4s and features a 3.5″ Super Clear IPS LCD with 640×960 pixels resolution, a 1GHz processor and a 5MP camera.
The second one is called ViewSonic 3GS, 4e that comes with a 3.5″ HVGA screen, 3MP camera and 650MHz and is 10.3mm thick. In fact the names seem a copy from the Apple products and may be felt strange why they use such names for their devices. May be it is not intentional, but ViewSonic could name them differently.
Anyway, the final one is phoneblet and you know what I mean, a device comes between a Smartphone and Tablet, that is named ViewSonic 5e and sports 5″ WVGA screen, and just like the other two Smartphones, this one also running on Android ICS and features 5″ WVGA screen.
Weird thing is that each year we see new Smartphones from ViewSonic at MWC, but later the devices vanishes and nothing heard about them. I hope this time it wouldn’t like that and ViewSonic would bring them to the light with enough publicity. At the MWC we will know more about these Smartphones.
