Best Buy Leak: Canon EOS 5D Mark III Camera Shipping Date March 25
Finally it seems like the most anticipated camera from the Canon, named Canon EOS 5D Mark III is getting closer to its release. A leaked document from Best Buy inventory system has revealed shipping date of the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR and the document was obtained by the Engadget.
The Canon EOS 5D Mark III will come with a 22.3-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor and a DIGIC 5+ Imaging Processor and features 61-point autofocus, and up to 6fps continuous. The Canon EOS 5D Mark III offers a an ISO range from 100 to 25,600 with an option for an iOS 50 option for studio and landscape use while ISO 51,200 and 102,400 for special applications.
The Camra is capable of shooting videos at 1080p Full HD resolution as well as 1080/24p, 25p, 30p and a 720/60p with H.264 compression. Interestingly the Canon EOS 5D Mark III is the first EOS model to come with a headphone jack so you could monitor audio in real time. The Caemra also features A 3.2-inch Clare View II LCD with a 1,040,000 dot resolution and for memory the DSLR supports dual-card Compact Flash Type 1 and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards.
When it comes to pricing, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III DSLR is priced at $3,499 and $4,299 for a kit that will offer you a kit with the EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM zoom lens. According to the leak, the Canon EOS 5D Mark III Best Buy shipping date is March 25 and probably other retailers will follow and expected to be released by the end of this month, a specific date is not available though.
