HP’s new EliteBook 8470p with Ivy Bridge Chip reviewed
You may have already known about Intel’s next generation chipset Ivy Bridge even though the company has declaimed to reveal more about the next generation chips, many pc makers are already preparing their devices with the new chips and it seems like HP has a new laptop with the Ivy Bridge under the hood and been reviewed and been tested by Laptop Reviews.
The HP Laptop with Ivy Bridge chips is called HP EliteBook 8470p with an unspecified Core i7 processor and features integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics, 8GB of RAM and an Intel 320 solid-state drive. The team behind the testing hasn’t revealed anything regarding to the Battery for the new HP Elitebook 8470p but the device has scored impressively and the reviewer noted that the that SSD may have helped boost scores beyond what an Ivy Bridge system with old-fashioned hard drive.
The new HP Elitebook 8470p features 14-inch LED backlit LCD, with 1366×768 resolution and there is light at the top of the screen to illuminate the keyboard. When it comes to the graphic side, the Elitebook 8470p has got a boost with HD 4000 and reportedly nice over systems running HD 3000. The Elitebook 8470p also has the same smooth glide touchpad.
The unite which tested by the Laptop Reviews weighs 2.435kg with a 6-cell battery installed and the weight is expected with all the magnesium alloy and brushed metal. Anyway, HP is yet to announce the new HP EliteBook 8470p but expected to be announced sooner than later, and till then stay tuned.
