Meizu MX Quad-Core Smartphone to be released in June in China; Specs and Price
Meizu has launched Quad-core Android Smartphone , the new Smartphone is upgraded version of the same Meizu MX with high-end specs under the hood with name Meizu MX Quad-Core. The new Smartphone is identical to the previous Dual-core version in design, powered by Cortex-A9-based, 32nm HKMG (High-K Metal Gate) quad-core Samsung Exynos chip though.
The company hasn’t revealed the RAM or clock speed of the processor but expected to be up to 1.5GHz. According to the Meizu, this will save up to 20 percent of CPU power consumption than the dual-core counterpart. You will be able to change the back cover that will be available in five optional colors in addition to the original white back cover.
When it comes to the software, the Mezu MX Quad-core will be running on Meizu’s customized version of Ice Cream Sandwich (aka Flyme OS. Other features are identical to its Dual-core counterpart Meizu MX that features 4-inch 960 x 640 ASV display , 8MP camera and will be available in 32GB and 64GB models.
The 32GB Meizu MX Quad-core is priced at ¥2,999 (US$480) in China and HK$3,099 (US$400) in Hong Kong while the 64GB version is priced at ¥3,999 (US$635) and HK$4,099 (US$530), respectively. The new Meizu MX Quad-core Smartphone is expected to be released in June.
