NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 with Dual-Kepler GPUs announced; Price and Release Date
NVIDA has finally announced its next generation graphics card dubbed GeForce GTX 690. The new graphics card is coming powered by two GPUs based on the “Kepler” architecture. The GeForce GTX 690 graphics card has been on rumor and the company launched the graphics card after teasing most of last week.
The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 uses thixomolded magnesium alloy for fan housing that make sure less heat and the heatsink uses vapor chamberstaht will help cool the graphics card like the previous designs.
When it comes to performance, we can’t say anything now but wait for independent benchmarks that will reveal the true power of this new beast. we expect that the GeForce GTX 690 will perform close to 2X faster than the GeForce GTX 680 . The GeForce GTX 690 embarks 3072 CUDA cores and you can also pair two GeForce GTX 690 to achieve total of 6144 CUDA cores.
The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 is expected to be available “by May 7″ according to NVIDIA and expect the NVIDIA’s partners like ASUS, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Inno3D, MSI, Palit and Zotac to have this new card ,when it comes to pricing never expect it to be a cheap one, it has been priced at $999 and hope it is the price for an ultimate graphics experience.
