Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and 7 inch Tablets Release pushed back to end of the April

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and 7 inch Tablets Release pushed back to end of the April

If you are in UK and expecting to pick the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 series, it seems like you will have to wait a little more. According to Samsung, the company has pushed the release of the two models to the end of April. It seems like the delay for the release of the tablet is to fine tune the OS, the company has promised that the both 7 and 10.1 tablet will be coming with Android 4.0 ICS.

Anyway, Samsung hasn’t given any specific details of the delay but it could be issue with integration of the Samsung’s TouchWiz with ICS or Hardware compatibility issue. Anyway, it is worth waiting if it comes with fully features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich even though the tablet was expected to ship in the March.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1  and the 7 inch tablets are powered by a 1Ghz dual-core processor. The 7 inch model features  a 1024×600 PLS screen, a 3 megapixel camera and storage between  8 and 32GB while the 10.1 Galaxy Tab 2 features a 1280×800 PLS screen and 16GB of storage.
