Sony to release NEX-FS700 Camcorder in June; Specs and expected Price
A professional videographer and want a camcorder?, you may want to check out the new Sony FS700 camcorder. The Sony has unveiled NEX-FS700U Full-HD Super Slow Motion camcorder on its NXCAM interchangeable E-mount camcorders. The camcorder is specially designed for the high-speed shooting with capability of faster footage at up to 960 frames per second.
The NEX-FS700U Full-HD features a new 4K “Exmor” Super 35 CMOS sensor with a Total 11.6 million pixels, 3G-SDI out, and integrated ND filters including clear, 1/4, 1/16, and 1/64. The Camcorder can captures higj definition still images and also features “face detection” and auto focus.
Other features include SD and Memory Stick cards, and Sony’s HXR-FMU128 flash memory unit that attaches to the camera. The Camcorder has 3G HD-SDI and HDMI connectors that can deliver full HD 50p and 60p while standard HD at 60i, 24p, 25p or 30p frame rates with embedded time code and audio. There is 3G HD-SDI port that outputs a native 23.98, 25, 29.97 progressive signals.
With the super slow-motion capability , you can cord at 120-240 frames per second in full HD resolution, and if you need a slower recording, the camera can do it at do 480-960 frames per second at reduced resolution. The Sony NEX-FS700 camcorder has built-in ND filters and also features several creative options, shooting styles, and enhanced ergonomics. The FS700U is coming with capability to host all SLR and DSLR 35mm lenses and FS series will be bale to use their existing lenses and add more lenses and you are not stuck with brands or mounts.
The Sony NEX-FS700 camcorder is expected to be released in June. When it comes to price , there is no exact details but expected to cost less than $10,000.
