2012 MacBook Pro Specs detailed; to feature 15" Retina Display and USB 3.0
The 2012 Apple MacBook Pro won”t feature the optical drive that helps slim down the device but feature a high-resolution Retina display. When we say slimmer than the current version, never expect it to be like MacBook Air. The device won”t feature the power button, instead will be located on the keyboard as with the MacBook Air.
The design of the MacBook Pro 2012 will remain the same except some changes in features and slim down look. Interestingly, the MacBook Pro laptop will also feature several 3.0 port along with typical MagSafe port, ThunderBolt ports, and SD card reader. It is great that the Apple is not replacing the Thunderbolt port for the new USB 3.0, instead will be running side by side. It is said that the company has been testing the technology for a while, the MacBook Pro will be the first to feature with an Apple product.
As said above that the new 15 inch MacBook Pro will be featuring high resolution retina display, the rumor has been in the air for a while and it is almost like confirmed, with insiders saying that the new display is “jaw-dropping” and most Mac innovation in the year. When it comes to GPU, there is no certain info but references to the NVIDIA GT 650M have been found in Mountain Lion. The processor will be Ivy Bridge quad-core i7 with some improved power efficiency. Anyway, there are no details about release date or price of the new MacBook Pro 2012 but rumors suggest June debut.
