AT&T announces Samsung Galaxy Appeal with QWERTY keyboard; Specs and Price

Even though complete touch devices have alm0st dominated the Smartphone market, there may still be those who want a device with QWERTY physical keyboard, and to fulfill the space, AT&T has added a new QWERTY device from Samsung to its prepaid lineup. The Smartphone named Samsung Galaxy Appeal is an entry-level device with 4 raw QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Galaxy Appeal is powered by an 800MHz ARM Cortex A5 CPU on  Qualcomm MSM7225A chipset and features a 3.2″ unit with HVGA (480×320 pixels) resolution,  512MB of RAM, 3MP rear camera and  and 1.8GB of built-in memory.

The Smartphone memory can be expanded further via microSD card. The mobile is running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with TouchWiz UI  and gets juice from a 1300mAh Li-Ion battery. The AT&T Samsung Galaxy Appeal will be available from Walmart starting June, followed by more AT&T GoPhone retail locations in July. The Smartphone is price at $150.
